Fun place to go when u need to get away from and some extra fun at their swimming pool
Room was clean, but you could tell the hotel was older. Some of the paint was chipping in the bathroom. Again, linen was clean, but well used. A hot continental breakfast was included. Seating in the breakfast area was limited, so we ended up bringing breakfast back to our room.
Great location with easy access to Jay Cooke State Park and I35. Pleasant stay, but noticeably older facilities (everything was clean, just looked a bit old). Good breakfast, but not enough seating. We wound up bring breakfast back to our room. Had waffles, cereal, fruit, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, oatmeal, juice. Coffee was subpar.

Very pleasant experience. The bed was comfortable and was spacious. Good location near state parks and not far from Duluth and literally less than a mile away from Black Bear Casino.
