Steakhouse is also good.

Buffet is pretty good being that it’s small. They have a variety of foods, great fresh fruit selection and the taste is good.

The Black Bear is a nice place and the staff from the hotel to the casino have all been friendly and helpful. The food there is all good from the buffet to the Seven Fires Steakhouse. It's in a nice easy to find location and it generally has good parking. I can't comment on the golfing because I haven't golfed there yet but I have heard good things.

The casino is very clean. Many workers walking around making sure machines and areas are clean of cigarette ash, empty glasses, chairs pushed in, etc.

Rooms clean and comfortable. They have nice shampoo/conditioner and lotions.

I’ve had cheeseburger from the deli, it was alright.

It is an enjoyable casino. On the smaller side but still fun. I would like to see some improvement in the air quality, though. The smoke seems to just hang around even when there aren't that many people.

Enjoy playing bingo here as it doesn’t get too crowded.

If you are a top player at the casino you are not necessarily treated like one. The staff needs to be more respectful of guests, the players club needs to give accurate information, instead of telling me " that is what we're supposed to say". If a guest is on the highest tier level and their card is secured equal to several cards of that same level they should receive additional perks such as their birthday month. The staff that receive tips have been downright rude, yet others that don't get tips go out of their way for the guest such as Jerry Reynolds. Go figure. There is no General manager, how about instead of hiring a person with a degree you hire someone that can oversee the casino affairs because they know the place, such as Dan LaPrairie who cares what happens to the guests. Caution, for the Lexus drawing I deposited my tickets for the draw 14,000, an amount that I had been watching grow which prompted me to attend the drawing Christmas night. Regards the end of the drawing I checked the kiosk, my drawing entries now we're put down to a little over 3,000. I went to the players club and they told me their computer matched it, next they declared I must be mistaken. I knew I wasn't besides when I deposited tickets at the kiosk I spoke with VB another sapphire player who saw my entries and remarked she only had 5,000 and since she saw my 14,000 she knew she wouldn't be bad called. If you attend drawings, make note of your entries and check the kiosk later, especially if your a high end sapphire. You'll be surprised to see your entries went elsewhere during the drawing!

The Black Bear Casino provided a fun time but it's lack of table selection and the smoking distracted me from the overall experience. The table selection was relatively limited but luckily we could find a table fairly quickly. I can see this becoming an issue if they were a bit busier. Our first dealer, Joshua, was super friendly and fun. It's been awhile since I played but he took care to explain the rule and guidelines and made great conversation in the meantime. The drink cart came frequently enough and the other dealers were good. When it came time to cash out, a few cashiers were closed but didn't take a ton of time to find the next. Overall, I had a good time. While I understand smoking is almost a given in any casino, it still detracts from the overall experience and the table selection could be improved.

Overall, I enjoy this casino. Have been many times and stayed multiple times. It’s a smaller casino but they have a variety of games.
