Beautiful Park! Plenty of parking. Nice hiking trails - though they were a little narrow in spots by the bridge and river. Great photo opportunities. The leaves are just starting to turn (3rd weekend in September) I think in the next week they will be spectacular! I had to laugh when I spotted the out house - as even it has its appeal when tree behind it was so pretty! LOL

Gorgeous! The river scenery is breathtaking; large cascading rapids surrounded by dark teal shales. The trails are easy and well maintained. I passed through here while backpacking on the Superior Hiking Trail and it was by far one of my favorite sections. The day hikes here would be good for older children (7+) but maybe not for little ones or for kids who are afraid of heights.

We went to Jay Cooke state park to see fall colors! And it was a very good choice. The Park has so much to offer. The drive along the park is breathtaking. And the hanging bridge is worth visiting. And the hiking trail through the bridge is beautiful!!

A great park with a variety of settings for a variety of people, skills, needs and wants. Easy access picnics with a view of the river to embarking on the Superior Hiking Trail for miles and miles. A well maintained park with many geographical points of iterest.

One of my favorite hiking destinations! Beautiful and rugged. It has a perfect mix of terrain. Definitely more strenuous than a walk through your local park though.
